Aisha Yesufu celebrates 48th birthday in high spirit
A renowned human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, on Monday celebrated her 48th birthday in high spirit. Aisha is unique in the civil society for being a devoted Muslim who believes in the rights and freedom of citizens across religious and other social leanings. She had spent her life fighting for the freedom and liberty of mankind, even at the risk of being confronted by security operatives in the country.
Aisha Yesufu was very active during the #EndSARS mass protest in Nigeria in 2020, a struggle by Nigerian youths against alleged police brutality and extra-judicial killings by the then Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police.
She is happily married with children
Aisha in her celebration mood, wrote on her official twitter handle: Aisha Yesufu @AishaYesufu “Today I am 48 years old 10 months and 10 days! Exactly half which I have been married.”
