Aisha Yesufu slams attackers, says, Obi can’t be shielded
A renowned human rights activists from the Muslim community, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed the attackers of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, saying that no one can silence Obi, asserting that the more the LP candidate speaks, the more people listen to him.
Aisha said that Obi is not like other candidates who when they speak, their supporters panic over the utterances of their principal. She urged Nigerians to believe in Peter Obi.
Aisha in a tweet on her official twitter handle wrote: Aisha Yesufu @AishaYesufu “Peter Obi is not one to be shielded. The more he speaks the more he appeals to those who are not interested. “Don’t compare him to candidates that their supporters hold their breath when they are speaking. Believe!”
Obi had earlier suspended his presidential campaign to visit victims of flooding at IDP camps. Obi had tweeted: “I personally stopped, and I told my people, No more campaigns, until we are able to visit some of the flood sites,…I’m calling on other presidential candidates to also stop. If we can buy forms for millions of Naira, we should be able to do something”. PO
