Akeredolu places bounty on criminals in Ondo state
As part of its efforts to curb insecurity, the Ondo State Government has promised to give N50,000 reward to anyone willing to expose the identity of kidnappers and other criminals in the state.
The Commissioner for Information & Orientation, Mrs Ademola-Olateju, disclosed this on Wednesday, August 17 after the weekly State Executive Council meeting at the Governor’s Office, Akure.

Ademola-Olateju said the development was meant to further encourage citizens to provide helpful & timely information about criminal activities in any part of the state.
According to her, “Anyone who reports a crime and we follow the trail, & it results in a successful prosecution of the perpetrator, will now be offered a prize of 50,000 Naira. We want people in Ondo state to say something when they see something.
We want our people to be proactive in the area of security to rid Ondo State of criminals, bandits & terrorists.
