AKISCOM sets to host Gov. Udo Emmanuel in Lagos
Plans are afoot by Akwa Ibom State Community (AKISCOM), Lagos, in collaboration with the Office of the Special Representative to the Governor in Lagos, to play host to her Grand Patron, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, in a ‘Mega Town Hall Meeting’ in Lagos.
The Meeting is being organized to affirm AKISCOM’s allegiance to its Grand Patron for his love to the Community and also, galvanize the support of indigenes in Lagos and the entire Western Region for the Governor’s second term bid.
President of AKISCOM, Lagos, Prince Felix Udoh, said while the date and venue of the rally would be communicated in due course after due consultations with His Excellency, all indigenes and friends of Akwa Ibom State resident in Lagos and the entire Western Region are enjoined to attend the event.
He said without prejudice to the aspirations of other eminently qualified indigenes vying for the highest position in Akwa Ibom State come 2019, and considering the apolitical nature of the Community, AKISCOM, Lagos believes it is politically sensible to allow its amiable Grand Patron and working Governor to complete two terms in the interest of equity, justice and sustainable development of Akwa Ibom state.
“Without doubts, we have noted with great admiration, His Excellency’s superlative performance and undaunted zeal in placing Akwa Ibom State among the comity of states. The tempo and momentum of development in the State since assuming office is amazing. In particular, we can testify to the Governor’s various outstanding contributions to the development of the State.”
Prince Udoh also said it is on record that Governor Udom Emmanuel has, to-date, commissioned several life touching projects in just about 3 and half Years of his administration.
