Ambode hands over to Sanwo-Olu 24 hours before inauguration
Outgoing Governor of Lagos state Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and incoming governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos house, Alusa, Ikeja.
With less than 24 hours to Wednesday’s inauguration, the outgoing Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has handed over the reins of leadership to the incoming governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Deputy Governor-elect, Dr Obafemi in a private meeting held at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
In a post-meeting briefing held with State House correspondents, the Governor-elect said Ambode offered him useful advice as well as state documents that contained his administration’s exploits, achievements, among others, in the last four years.
