Amotekun apprehends five at shrine over N2.7m fraud
The Amotekun Command in Ekiti State has revealed the arrest of five persons in the state who defrauded a trader.
The Commandant of Amotekun in Ekiti State, retired Brigadier Joe Akomolafe, in Ado Ekiti, disclosed that the five fraudsters were arrested in Ikere Ekiti for defrauding an Ogun State-based trader, Godfrey Abimbola, of N2.7 million.
The Commandant said that the fraudsters were arrested after the Command received intelligence report on their activities at a shrine in Ikere Ekiti, 10 kilometers from Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
