Anne Hathaway addresses facelift rumours
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has responded to online speculation suggesting she underwent a facelift after fans noticed changes in her recent appearance.
The 43-year-old actress triggered the rumours after posting an Instagram video in March featuring a beauty styling trick by her hairstylist Orlando Pita.

In the clip, Hathaway explained that Pita used two hidden braids near her temples to subtly lift the eye area when preparing her for red-carpet events.
The video, however, led some social media users to speculate that she had undergone cosmetic surgery.
Speaking in an interview with ELLE Magazine, Hathaway said the discussion around her appearance became overwhelming and difficult to ignore.
She noted that she typically avoids responding to rumours about her looks, but felt compelled to clarify due to the scale of speculation.
According to her, many people now treat personal opinions as fact, even when they are not grounded in reality.
Hathaway clarified that the change in her appearance was due to styling techniques rather than surgery, specifically pointing to the “two braids” method used by her hairstylist.
She also addressed cosmetic procedures more broadly, describing facelift surgery as a serious medical decision, while adding that she is not ruling it out in the future.
The actress is also set to reprise her role as journalist Andy Sachs in the upcoming sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2, nearly two decades after the original film.
She said returning to the character felt emotional and reflective, noting the original movie played a significant role in shaping her career.
