APC shifts governorship primary election to Sunday
The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Working Committee, NWC, on Thursday shifted the party’s governorship primary election earlier fixed for Saturday, September 29 to Sunday, September 30 2018..
APC Acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, in a statement late on Thursday night announced the change of dates for the party’s primary elections after an emergency meeting of the NWC.
The statement reads: “Subsequent elections are unchanged and are as follows: 2nd October, 2018, Senate Primary Elections; 3rd October, 2018, House of Representatives; 4th October, 2018, State House of Assembly and 6th October, 2018, the National Convention, Presidential.”
The ruling will elect candidates for the various elections in 2019 at the primary elections.
