Arne Slot’s Liverpool secure first home win with victory over Brentford
Arne Slot’s first Premier League home game as Liverpool manager ended in success, with the Reds maintaining their perfect start to the season by defeating Brentford.
Luis Diaz opened the scoring with a clinical finish in the 13th minute, marking his 100th appea rance for Liverpool since joining from Porto in 2022. Impressively, Diaz has scored Liverpool’s first Premier League goal at Anfield in each of the past three seasons.
