ARPON commends CP Disu for unwavering commitment to peace in Rivers
The Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria, Rivers State branch, recently had the privilege of visiting the esteemed Commissioner of Police, CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu psc, at the distinguished Police Command Headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt.
During this significant occasion, the retired officers graciously acknowledged the existing political crisis in Rivers State and commended CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu for his unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order amidst these challenging circumstances.
They expressed their deep appreciation for CP Disu’s considerate gesture as the first Commissioner of Police to visit and extend solidarity to retired Police Officers during such a tumultuous period.
The retired officers expressed heartfelt gratitude to CP Disu and the entire command for their unwavering dedication. They wholeheartedly urged him to persevere in his efforts to ensure peace and security in the state, recognizing the immense challenges faced by law enforcement officers.
Moreover, the retired officers pledged to contribute their invaluable experience to support the Police in combating crime within Rivers State. They offered prayers for CP Disu and his team’s continued success in their law enforcement endeavors.
CP Olatunji Rilwan Disu responded with utmost appreciation, sincerely thanking the retired Police officers for their historic visit. He expressed his pleasure and honor at their presence, acknowledging that their encouragement would inspire him to redouble his efforts in serving the community.
CP Disu assured the retired officers of his commitment to supporting them whenever necessary and expressed his eagerness to learn from their vast wealth of experience.
AIG Mrs. Hilda-Ibifuro Harrison, retired, also joined in praising CP Disu for his proactive measures against crime.
