Babajide Kolade talks about the good things about the new electoral bill

Babajide Kolade Otitoju has revealed the positive things about the newly signed electoral bill by President Muhammad Buhari.

The ace journalist while talking on the Sunday edition of Journalists’ Hangout maintained that the electoral bill is good because it will give enough time for all political parties to choose their flag bearer for the upcoming election.

He noted that unlike before where parties can choose their flag bearer weeks before election, the newly signed electoral bill will make sure that such actions stop.

Speaking further, he maintained that going by what the electoral bill says, every political appointees who want to contest for an electoral post must resign months before the election.

He commend President Muhammad Buhari for signing the new electoral bill into law, maintaining that it is a good thing for democracy to thrive.
