How Uzodinma replied Wike after he advised Imo people not to re-elect him in 2023
Ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial Election in Imo State, Governor Nyesom Wike recently took a swipe at the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma. Speaking in Owerri, at a Reception organized by the party to welcome home the PDP National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, The Rivers State Governor urged the people of the State not to make the mistake of re-electing Uzodinma in 2023. Speaking further, Wike said that ruling party has failed Nigerians.
Uzodinma who spoke through the Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Declean Emelumba said Senator Hope Uzodinma is sure of re-election in 2023 because he has achieved in two years what Wike could not do in Rivers State in seven years.

Emelumba noted that the Imo State Governor has constructed series of Roads and has equally empowered thousands of Youths, Reactivated Industries and transformed the Health Sector.
He added that the non-challant attitude of Wike in his party led to the Defection of Two Governors to the APC. He expressed confidence that Uzodinma sterling Performance across the 27 Local Government Areas in the State ‘ll win him re-election in 2023 and urged Wike not to distract the Performing Governor of Imo State.
