Bandits kidnap 21 children in Katsina, demand N30m ransom
Bandits struck at a farmland kidnapping over 21 children in Mairuwa community, Faskari Local Government Area, Katsina State.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Katsina State Command, SP Gambo Isah, disclosed on Wednesday that the bandits struck at about 12.30 pm on Sunday.
The PPRO said the victims are aged between 15 and 18 years.
SP Gambo Isah had stated “..we got the report and we are working to rescue them. The children among them are 21, between 15 and 18 years.
“The owner of the farm was not around when the incident happened.”
The bandits were said to be demanding N30 million ransom or direct discussion with the owner of the farm where the victims were working.
