Bandits kill district head, two sons in Zamfara
Bandits on Wednesday launched fresh attack on Gada community, Bungudu Local Government Area, Zamfara State, killing the district head of Gada, Umaru Bawan-Allah, and two of his sons.
Zamfara State Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Dosara, acknowledging the invasion of the community by the bandits, disclosed that in addition to the killings, the bandits burnt the residence of the district head. He said, however, that security operatives are on the manhunt of the bandits.
The bandits were said to have invaded the community in the early hours of Wednesday, kidnapping many people after killing the district head of Gada and his two sons.
