Bandits kill DPO in Katsina
Bandits on Wednesday killed the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Katsina State. The Divisional Police Officer was killed while leading operations to repel an attack by bandits in Magama community in Jibia Local Government Area, Katsina State on Wednesday morning.
Another police officer was injured in the confrontation between the bandits and the police which led to the death of the DPO in Magama community, Jibia LGA, Katsina State.
The Katsina State Police Command is yet to make an official statement on the incident at the time of this report.
