Bandits on patrol arrest, sermonize thief before handing him over to govt

Katsina bandits get a little more righteous recently by arresting a scavenger who burgled buildings and removed iron rods.

The armed criminals went ahead and handed him over to a community chief, ensuring the thief was handed over to security agents.

A video published by PRNigeria captured how they paraded the thief with his looted iron and metal rods and bars.

The bandits explained they were on mobile patrol when they caught the suspect.

In the video, the bandits lectured the thief about the criminality of stealing.

“Don’t you know that it is an offence to steal? You’re lucky we are handing you over to the authority

“We could have killed you,” they added.
