Bayern confident of Sane signing, says Kovac
Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac says he is confident the club will sign Leroy Sane from Manchester City. The Bundesliga side’s president, Uli Hoeness, and CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, have been vocal about their interest in the German winger, though City want to tie him down to a new contract.
And Kovac says on Sunday that Bayern are advancing in their pursuit of Sane and believes they will sign him. “The club management is very committed to it and I’m very confident, I assume that we can get him,” Kovac told ZDF.
Also, Kagawa is close to Celta switch. Shinji Kagawa is close to leaving Borussia Dortmund for Celta Vigo, AS says. The Japan international is hoping to leave the German outfit and hopes to play in Spain before his career ends, while Celta believe signing Kagawa would complete their transfer window.
