Inter eye Cavani as Dzeko alternative
Inter will turn their attention to Edinson Cavani if they fail to sign Edin Dzeko from Roma. The Nerazzurri launched a bid to sign Dzeko as a cheaper alternative to Romelu Lukaku, but have not matched Roma’s asking price. If they cannot make any progress, Paris Saint-Germain striker Cavani will be their next target as they look to strengthen their attack.
Also, Man City prepared to match €75m Oyarzabal clause. Real Sociedad will replace Bayern-bounde Leroy Sane. Manchester City are prepared to trigger Real Sociedad star Mikel Oyarzabal’s €75 million (£68m/$84m) release clause if Leroy Sane joins Bayern Munich, AS says.
The Premier League side are worried Sane will return to the Bundesliga this summer as Bayern continue their pursuit of the Germany winger. City want Oyarzabal to replace Sane and are willing to spend big to land him before the transfer window closes.
