Nigerian parents have been counseled to consciously relate with their wards and try to be worthy role models to them.
This was the thrust of Barrister Adedeji Adetayo Odumosu’s speech as Chairman of Diamonds Mine School’s 2022 Graduation and Prize Giving Day.
Odumosu harped on the importance of deliberate conversation between parents and their children, so as to elicit good relationships that is mutually beneficial.
“My child ones told his mum in a discussion why he will always maintain close ties with me rather than her, he said whenever I tell you I need something you will say there is no money but my father always ensure he gets it for me.
“I urge all our parents to be conscious of how relate with our children, we are their role models, how we relate and give attention to their needs matters so much. When we are there for them they won’t keep secrets, they will be able to confide in us.” Odumosu said.

The dazzling presentations by wiz kids, who peopled Diamonds Mine School wowed all in attendance as pupils between age 5-7 reeled out historical facts about Nigeria political evolution, by heart with little or no guide from their instructors.
Worthy of note amongst the youngsters is little Princess Ayanfeoluwa Oshinaike, she really displayed a high level of competence.
