Boko Haram suffers biggest loss in 2022 in Biu
No fewer than 40 Boko Haram fighters have been killed in Maina-Hari, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
Troops of Operations Hadin Kai neutralized the terrorists who attempted to attack the largest town in the Southern part of Borno, on Saturday.
“We overpowered the outlawed group under 45 minutes. It was the best outing in recent times. We killed more than 40 Boko Haram members today,” a CJTF member told the Daily Trust.
Days ago, Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) released a footage of its men attacking the army institute in Buratai.
The army authorities however said the attack was repelled in good time.
