Breaking: Anthony “A.J.” Johnson reportedly passed away from “chronic ethanol use”
According to a report that was released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner on Tuesday, “Friday” star Anthony Johnson died from natural causes in September of 2021 related to “chronic ethanol use,” People reports.
By definition, ethanol “is best known as the alcohol found in alcoholic beverages. In common usage, it is often referred to simply as alcohol,” according to Calstate.edu.
No other cause was listed, but the “manner” of death is considered to be “natural.” The report also stated no drugs or alcohol were found in his system at the time of passing, @tmz_tv reports.

Also, according to @tmz_tv, his wife Lexis says, “Anthony’s legacy will live on through a foundation she’s creating in his name. She also says she wants the cause of death to be public knowledge as a warning to others about the lethal effects of alcohol.”
As you know, A..J.’s nephew confirmed his passing and said that he was found lifeless in a store earlier this month in Los Angeles. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced deceased. At the time a cause of death has not been determined.
A.J. is known for starring in films such as “Friday,” “I Got The Hookup,” “Players Club,” and more.

Fellow actor Tyrin Turner spoke about his passing and said, “Dam we shared great times on screen and off …. can’t believe this sh*t…..one of the funniest n*ggaz ever…… dam been losing so many people I’m scared to answer my phone or look at my messages!!!!!!!”
