CAF names two Nigeria’s ex internationals 2019 AFCON Ambassador

Former Nigeria stars Daniel Amokachi and Nwankwo Kanu have been named by CAF as Ambassadors for the forthcoming AFCON in Egypt, National Daily gathered.
Amokachi and Kwankwo have featured for Nigeria at the AFCON as well as the World Cup.
Amokachi told our reporter that he is very happy about the new development and all glory to God.
Other former stars to serve as Ambassadors at the AFCON are Samuel Eto’o Fils of Cameroon as well as Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure from Cote d’Ivoire.
The 2019 AFCON will be staged between June 21 and July 20 in Egypt.
The Super Eagles are drawn in a first round group that has Burundi, Guinea and Madagascar.
They open their campaign on June 22 against debutants Burundi.
