DOWEN: Celebrity owner of college exposed
Since the murder of Sylvester Oromoni at a highbrow college in the Lekki area of Lagos, the family, the school and its staff have been in the news—nothing heard about the Dowen College owner.
But a Nigerian music manager, Ubi Franklin, has disclosed who owns the school in a post shared on his official Twitter page.
Ubi unveiled the owner as part of his own protest to seek justice for the late 12-year-old assaulted allegedly by his mates.
“Say something now, she might see our rage on your page. We are talking about a 12-year-old here, what if this boy were to be your son?” He wrote.
“I know some of my colleagues or Abi some celebrities will not speak up about this “Dowen college matter because one of our colleague is the owner of the school.
“I have been watching your pages and I know she is very close to you, yes you.”
The owner of the college, Olumide Philips, is not an entertainer.
His daughter, Lami Philips, a singer, is , however, a director of the school.
