Dr. Ruslan Zhuravsky Explains How to Remain Relevant by Staying on Top of Trends
Having grown to success in esthetic patient care, Dr. Ruslan Zhuravsky puts this down to his particular philosophy. Staying one step ahead of trends in his field and putting patients’ wishes first helps him maintain his relevance and reputation.
Dr. Ruslan Zhuravsky is a cosmetic surgeon specializing in treating the face and neck, a notably complex part of the body for medical procedures. He wishes, and has always desired, to make people happier through what he does for a living. This is what made him choose this particular career path, as he explains that what he does for a living has significant beneficial impacts on his patients’ wellbeing.
What has helped him remain relevant is listening to his patients and keeping on top of changes and trends in the field. Dr. Zhuravsky expresses the significance of this by explaining that understanding modern options in cosmetic surgery allows him to give the best advice to his patients.
Born in Ukraine, Dr. Ruslan Zhuravsky received a college education in the US. He chose his career to make a positive difference in people’s lives and because he found he had a natural ability for it. He creates customized plans for his patients at his practice in Florida, producing precise work with results that look and feel natural.
His mantra now is to “take into account the patients’ expressed desires, esthetic goals, and physical characteristics, and all available solutions in order to advise the patient properly.” Without staying on top of trends in his professional work, he wouldn’t be able to achieve that aim.
Another important aspect of staying on top of trends is knowing when to advise patients to avoid inadequate or potentially harmful treatments. “There is always something new being marketed to patients in this field. I like to stay aware of what these trends are so that I can help my patients avoid wasteful procedures and those that can lead to problems down the line.”
