DSS declared fresh war on Igboho, seeks cancellation of bail granted associates
The Department of State Service (DSS) on Monday may have declared fresh war against Sunday Igboho, challenging the reversal of the bail granted associates of Sunday Igboho by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja last Wednesday.
The DSS appealed the judgment of the Court in an application before the Federal High Court, Abuja, seeking the court to nullify the bail application granted four of the 12 associates of Sunday Igboho on Wednesday, 4th August.
The DSS in the motion on notice filed on Monday, also prayed the court to remand 4 out of the 12 respondents in their custody pending their arraignment.
The DSS, making alternative request, seek the court to vary upward the conditions of bail granted to the four applicants
The DSS alleged that the applicants are plotting to flee to the Benin Republic, whenever they are released from detention.
