DSS recovers N580m from suspended EFCC boss Bawa
The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly retrieved over N580 million from Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recall that Bawa was arrested by the DSS in June, shortly after President Bola Tinubu suspended him indefinitely over alleged misconduct and ab¥se of office. He has been in custody ever since.
According to SaharaReporters, sources disclosed on Friday, October 20, that: “Over N580 million has been retrieved from the incarcerated former chairman of the anti-graft agency, EFCC.
