Nollywood veteran Ani Chukwuemeka on Sunday got a cash gift of N6 million from Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder and senior prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri.

Fufeyin also gave two other actors who were with Chukwuemeka N500,000 each.

Chukwuemeka is currently battling with a chronic illness.

Narrating his ordeal, he said the state of his health worsened in 2020 after a swelling on his butt was operated in Owerri.

He said the kind of diabetes he’s managing has been affecting his health, especially with a cataract growing in one eye. A partial stroke also came in to the syndrome.

Cash strapped, he made a video begging people to help him live on social media. Yul Edochie shared it on his verified Instagram handle.

It was the video the Prophet saw that made him invite the actor.

Fufeyin then on Sunday at his church called out the actor and provided him with cash for the hospital bills while praying for him and others who were at the service with him.

Chukwuemeka thank God for this gesture from the prophet.

“Even though I know that he helps people financially and otherwise. I never knew he was going to give me huge amount of money like this. I want to thank members of the church. I want to thank the prophet of God,” he said.

Fufeyin has given a number of ailing Nollywood actors cash and car gifts over the years: Leo Mezie, kidney; Ernest Asuzu, SUV and N2 million.
