EFCC arrests 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Sokoto
Operatives of the Sokoto Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Sokoto, Sokoto State.
According to the Commission in a statement on Monday @officialEFCC, they were arrested on Saturday at the Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of Sokoto based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
All the suspected internet fraudsters claimed they are students of Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
The arrested internet fraudsters will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations, EFCC said.
