Ekweremadu’s wife regains freedom from UK prison, returns home
The wife of Ike Ekweremadu, former Deputy President of the Senate, Beatrice Ekweremadu, has regained freedom from the United Kingdom (U.K.) prison and has returned to their residence in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria.

Beatrice was convicted in the United Kingdom along her husband, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, and Dr. Obinna Obeta on prosecution over organ trafficking.
The UK court sentenced Ike Ekweremadu to 10 years imprisonment, and Beatrice six years imprisonment.
