Elon Musk and singer Grimes welcome third child

American billionaire businessman, Elon Musk, has revealed he has a third child, a baby boy, with singer Grimes.

The 52-year-old announced the news in his new biography and took to X to confirm the boy’s name is Techno Mechanicus, or Tau for short. He, however, didn’t disclosed the child’s age.

The word tau means multiple things, including the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet, the 19th star in a constellation and a type of unstable subatomic particle.

The Tesla boss already has two children with Grimes, 35, whose real name is Claire Boucher. They have a three-year-old son X Æ A-12, who goes by ‘X’, and one-year-old daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, known affectionately as ‘Y’.

The birth of the boy brings the total number of Musk’s children to 11.
