Faleke alerts on hacking of his MTN number, whatsapp account

A member of the House of Representatives of the 10th National Assembly, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has alerted the public of the hacking of his MTN number linked to his whatsapp account by hackers.

The hackers have been using the lawmakers whatsapp account to send messages to his contacts demanding money.

Faleke has, accordingly, admonished his contacts to disregard messages requesting money from them.

According to the Federal Lawmaker, @honfaleke

“My MTN number linked to my WhatsApp account has been hacked by suspicious individuals. The hacker has been sending messages to my contacts, asking for money.

“Please disregard any such messages, as I would never make such requests.”
