The Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, has sent her condolences to the Lagos State government and the Nigeria Football Federation on the death of Honourable Deji Tinubu, a former Special Adviser on Sports to the Lagos State Governor National Daily learnt.
Falode expressed shock on the sudden death of the astute sports administrator who slumped on Thursday night during a novelty football match involving the Executives of the state government.
She said, before his death, the former NFF board member, was full of life.
While also consoling the board of the NFF on the death of their former member who served during the era of Aminu Maigari as the president, Falode prayed that God gives his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“It was just unbelievable that Deji Tinubu is no more, this is too much to swallow especially for such a young and brilliant sports administrator. We have lost a gem in the football family.
