Family debunk Zik Zulu Okafor claims, releases pictures
Nollywood actor, Saint Obi’s family members have released photos to shut down claims that he never invited his colleagues to his child’s dedication.
Kemi Filani reported that filmmaker, Zik Zulu Okafor had claimed that Saint Obi never invited any of his colleagues to any of his three children’s dedications.
Proving him wrong, a family member had sent photos of his colleagues at one of his children’s dedication to Instagram blog, Instablog9ja.
The photos showed veteran actors/actresses Segun Arinze, Kate Henshaw, and Stephanie Okereke at the ceremony which was held at Saint Obi’s apartment, before they moved to his wife’s house in Lekki, Lagos.
It was gathered that Obi and his millionaire wife, Lynda, tied the knot in 2006 and had their first child in Novel 2007. They held the child’s dedication in 2008 and some of his colleagues were in attendance.

Describing the writeup by Zik Zulu Okafor as false, malicious, and insensitive, they expressed their views on the actor which they also described as sad and most unfortunate.

They stated that Zik Zulu never consulted any member of the family, nor authored their consent or authority and as such, they are disassociating themselves from it.
His family went on to compliment his estranged wife, who they described as the opposite of what the article portrayed her to be.
The family promised to give an update on his funeral arrangements.


This came after Zik Zulu Okafor narrated how Saint Obi’s marriage took him away from his acting career and from his friends.
The movie producer, in an article dedicated to the deceased, spoke out on his turbulent marital life and how his wife, was calling the shots in the marriage.

According to him, he said his wife, who was a top executive at a telecommunication company, and her siblings saw him as a ‘gold digger’.
He alleged that Obi was always harassed by his wife’s siblings especially her brothers, which eventually led to the end of the marriage.
Zik disclosed that Saint Obi’s health deteriorated mid-last year before his death.
