Fernandez: Veratti has qualities of Modric, Iniesta
In the win against Manchester United (2-0) in the first leg of the Champions League, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder – Marquinhos and Verratti – dominated the Red Devils. In Le Parisien du jour, the former player (1978-1986) and coach (1994-1994 / 2000-2003) Paris, Luis Fernandez, put forward the qualities of the Italian international.
“By his technical mastery, his gestures and his coordination, he can give the ball in peace. I liked his volume, his activity, and he gave everything. He finished dead. He has the qualities to become Modric or Iniesta of PSG, those who dominate the game by their ease. If he changes something, he has everything to be great in the long run.
