Femi Adefesoon, a sports broadcaster, highlighted that Galatasaray, while less competitive than Napoli, would offer Osimhen more playing time.
He emphasized that staying in Italy could have led to Osimhen being sidelined or forced to train with the junior team.
Kelechi Bernard, a sports journalist, agreed that the move was timely, considering the toxic situation Osimhen faced at Napoli.
He criticized Napoli’s excessive demands during negotiations with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Emefieh Nkem, an avid Osimhen fan, noted a significant increase in his following on social media since joining Galatasaray.

He expressed relief that Osimhen would be able to play in the Europa League after being banished from Napoli’s first team under new coach Antonio Conte.
National Daily Newspaper reported that Osimhen received a warm welcome from Galatasaray supporters upon his arrival in Turkey.
The club successfully secured his transfer before the transfer deadline, while Chelsea and Saudi Pro League teams were unable to meet Napoli’s and Osimhen’s demands.
