Festus Keyamo slams PDP over misappropriation of funds
According to reports, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, a member of the PDP NWC, wrote a letter to the National Treasurer of the PDP to refund N36 million, which he surprisingly received from the party for use as house rent.
Reacting to this letter, the APC spokesman expressed his shock as he queried the PDP as to why a single member of its NWC would receive such a large amount from scarce party funds, claiming also that they were trying to retain power at all cost. He also requested a public apology from the party’s leadership to Nigerians.
According to a post on his official Twitter timeline, “This makes the story of PDP even worse. How can you use about N30 million of scarce party funds to pay for the house rent of just one member of the NWC? A party struggling to regain power at the center?”
