Footballer Neymar reportedly loses over N1 billion to online gambling
Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar apparently lost €1 million playing online poker on Thursday, with the Brazilian left fake crying on a live stream.
According to reports from Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, he lost 1 million euros in just an hour, causing him to fake cry and scream while a mock Titanic theme played in the background.
It is reported that the event was streamed on his Twitch channel. The Paris Saint-Germain star – who earns £3.2m-per-month – has been left to his own devices after he was ruled out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
It is reported that he is not averse to gambling during his spare time – something of which he has plenty of, as he recovers following his surgery.
