Former Senate president, wife die within 12 days in UK

The widow of former Senate President Joseph Wayas is dead.

Mrs Mary Abiola Wayas died 12 days after her husband who died in the United Kingdom on November 30th, 2021.

Like her husband, she too died in a London Hospital on 12th December 2021 after a brief illness according to Joseph Wayas Jnr.

The trained secretary is survived by five children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She worked in Russell Square, London while supporting her husband who was then an overseas student in the UK.
