Fubara pays N100,000 salary bonus to workers in Rivers public service
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has ordered the payment of N100,000 salary bonus for the year ending 2023 to each staff of the civil and public service of the state.
The N100,000 salary bonus exceeds the minimum wage paid to public servants in the country, and would be paid to all workers in the various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Rivers State.

The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joe Johnson, revealed that the governor approved the salary bonus on Tuesday and ordered “immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.”
