Girl, 3, vomits, bleeds, faints as father defiles her

Ali Lawan, a native of Anguwar Doya, Kirfi LGA, Bauchi, is in police net for defiling his own three-year-old daughter on January 9.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, Ahmed Wakil, in a statement made available to journalists in the state on Saturday said the girl’s mother, Maryam Abdullahi, reported the case at Kirfi Divisional police Headquarters that on the same date at about 6.00pm.

According to her,  her husband, Lawan, asked her to bring him a mat to lay down their daughter to sleep.

“Later, she came back to the room and met Hajara lying down unconscious, sweating and vomiting through her mouth and nose; and her private part was swollen.

“On receipt of the report, a team of detectives was drafted to the scene and rushed the victim to the General Hospital Kirfi for immediate medical attention.

“Doctors certified her to have been raped. The suspect was arrested and investigation is ongoing after which the suspect will be charged to court,” the spokesman said.
