How Benitez turned down offers from bigger clubs
Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed he has turned down offers from bigger clubs.
The Magpies have been hamstrung by a lack of funds during Benitez’s tenure, but the Spaniard insists he still has work to do on Tyneside.
Perhaps Benitez hasn’t gotten the offer he can’t refuse. He has already had his time in Madrid. Perhaps Madrid don’t think he is the right man to help them out of their latest mess. As they prepare to look the way of Benitez long time enemy, Mourinho.
It will be some interesting move if we can see Benitez and Mourinho in Spain next season.
