I feel sorry for women praising Sabinus and Macaroni’s skits – Kemi Olunloyo
Kemi Olunloyo has stated that she is not a fan of popular skit makers Oga Sabinus and Mr Macaroni, describing their comedy videos as “tasteless” and adding that it belittles women.
The controversial investigative journalist and media personality in a now-deleted tweet said she felt sorry for young ladies who praised the foremost entertainers.
The 57-year-old said: “Sabinus and Macaroni skits is about Denigrating WOMEN.
“Sadly the industry sees nothing wrong with them. Soon it will wear out.
“I feel sorry for young ladies praising their tasteless comedy.”
Her tweet comes after Sabinus aka Mr Funny (Chukwuemeka Ejekwu) won the online social content creators’ award category of the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
It also comes after Mr Macaroni (real name Debo Adedayo) called out Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on the bird app:
“High level of insecurity and hardship. Under @jidesanwoolu who swore to serve and protect the people. But na Mr Macaroni be their headache!! I have suffered so much under this administration but if you people think you will shut me up by trolling me, YOU LIE!!! Aluta Continua!!!” Macaroni tweeted.
