Senator Shehu Sani reacts to female students planning to protest nude in Bauchi

It was reported some days ago that over 500 female students of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and their counterpart from the Bauchi State University, Gadau, are planning to stage a street protest in Bauchi while half naked (nude).

The female students planned this protest after the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU announced the extension of it’s comprehensive and total strike by three months.

Senator Shehu Sani has recently reacted to this. He made a post on Twitter addressing the female students on their plan to stage a nude protest.

He started off by commending the nationwide students protest over the ongoing universities strike and said that such a protest should be sustained. However, he mentioned that the threats of female students to protest nude should be suspended.

Senator Shehu explained that a nude protest from the female students will only create serious distractions from the main problem.
