I’m deeply in love with my daughter – 50 year-old father

Austine Okafor, 50, is cooling off in prison custody after he allegedly made several attempt to have carnal knowledge of his 18-year-old daughter.
The suspect was arrested and charged before a court in Lagos state for sexual molestation and assault by tampering with the victim private part..
National Daily gathered that the incident happened in their house at Oladimeji Street in Aguda, Surulere Lagos .
Our reporter learnt that the victim has been sexually molested by his father while she kept the trauma to herself for over four years because a shame and abomination.
According to a source, the victim kept warning her father anytime he tried to touch her breast or immediately she wanted to dress up after taking her bath. But the father did not listen to her and continued to harass her sexually which made her become restless at home.
A police source said the victim was feeling bad to inform anybody ever since the father has been trying to have sexual course with her.
It was learnt that the victim raised the alarm that her father allegedly locked her inside the room making an attempt as usual to force her on that day before his arrest. He reportedly grabbed the victim to put his finger into her private part before she screamed out.
She then went and reported her father to the Gender Section of the police who made the arrest.
The suspect confessed that he was deeply in love with his daughter and always had the desire to sleep with her.
He denied ever having carnal knowledge of her but admitted touching her private part. He was brought and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for sexual assault by touching her daughter’s private part under the Criminal code.
He pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs Davis Abegunde, admitted him on bail and remanded him in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
