Injured Iwobi to undergo scan
The coach of Everton, Frank Lampard, has said that player, Alex Iwobi, would undergo a scan on Saturday to determine the extent an injury sustained during the match with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Friday.
Via Everton’s Twitter handle, Lampard said, “We hope it’s not too serious. It looks like an ankle ligament injury. He will have a scan tomorrow (Saturday) to confirm.”
Iwobi was stretchered off the pitch in the second half following a tackle from Tyrell Malacia.
