Reigning Neros/Anambra FA Cup champions, FC Ifeanyi Ubah will begin their 2019 title defence Thursday, April 11, 2019 against Udalla FC in a top of the bill second round clash.
The fixture holds at the magnificent FC Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Ozubulu Road, Nnewi.
The holders were exempted from the opening games after they were drawn bye when the fixtures were made on March 28.
On the other hand, Udalla FC saw off a resilient Ranges FC 1-0 in their opening match at Neros Stadium Nanka to set the stage for today’s epic showdown.
Cardinal Arinze FC will stake their might and credentials against Terish FC in yet another second round game at Rojenny Stadium, Oba, near Onitsha.
Proprietor of Udalla FC, Chief Philip Udalla, said he’s confident going into today’s clash against the NPFL side, FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
“Its a game of equal numbers, that’s 11 men on each side. We will do our best and hope our best gives us victory”, the Udalla FC boss said.
Eventual winners of the Neros/Anambra FA Cup will smile home with N2m while the runners up get N1m.
The third place side earns N500, 000 just as the fourth placed team is rewarded with N300,000 while all quarter finalists receive N100,000 each.
