Jetour Nigeria unveils RELY R8, targets rugged terrain with premium utility pickup
Jetour Nigeria has introduced the RELY R8, a premium pickup truck designed to combine rugged off-road capability with modern luxury, as the automotive brand seeks to strengthen its presence in Nigeria’s growing utility vehicle market.
The company said the new RELY R8 is engineered to meet the demands of Nigeria’s diverse operating environments, making it suitable for agriculture, construction, logistics, security escort services and recreational outdoor activities.
According to Jetour Nigeria, the vehicle features high ground clearance, impressive approach and departure angles, and an advanced chassis engineered to withstand harsh road conditions and strong crosswinds commonly encountered across the country.
The RELY R8 is also equipped with multiple terrain-select driving modes, allowing drivers to transition effortlessly between mud, sand and paved roads. The company said the system enhances the vehicle’s versatility for both heavy-duty commercial operations and demanding off-road recovery missions.
Despite its work-focused capability, the pickup offers a spacious SUV-inspired cabin designed to comfortably accommodate five adults, reflecting the manufacturer’s emphasis on combining utility with passenger comfort.

“The RELY R8 delivers strength, reliability and advanced technology in one vehicle. It offers modern workhorse capability without compromising on premium comfort or safety,” Adeola said.
The vehicle comes equipped with a high-performance processor powering L2+ intelligent driving assistance systems, alongside a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include remote engine start and a suite of intelligent driver-assistance technologies.
Safety features include Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking, designed to enhance driver confidence and improve occupant protection during daily commuting and long-distance travel.
Jetour Nigeria noted that the launch builds on the brand’s recent achievements in the Nigerian automotive industry, including recognition as one of the country’s fastest-growing automobile brands and the Car of the Year award received by the Jetour Dashing model.
The company, which has served as the sole authorised distributor of Jetour vehicles in Nigeria since 2022, said the RELY R8 will be supported through its nationwide network of authorised dealerships.
The dealerships include Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, R.T. Briscoe Plc, TAB Autos Limited and Mandilas Motors.
Jetour Nigeria encouraged prospective customers to visit any of its authorised dealerships across the country to book a test drive and experience the new RELY R8’s combination of rugged performance, advanced technology and premium comfort.
