Jetour Nigeria bags top auto brand honour at Nigeria Transport Day awards
Jetour Nigeria has been named Auto Brand of the Year at the 12th Nigeria Transport Lecture and Awards, reinforcing its growing influence in Nigeria’s automotive industry following its rapid expansion and increasing market acceptance.
The award was presented at a ceremony organised by Transport Day Media at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, where key stakeholders from the transport, logistics and automotive industries gathered to recognise organisations and individuals contributing to the growth of Nigeria’s mobility sector.
The recognition comes less than four years after Jetour Nigeria was appointed the exclusive distributor of the Chinese automobile brand in the country, reflecting the company’s growing footprint in the competitive automotive market.
Speaking at the event, Publisher of Transport Day Media, Frank Kintum, said the company’s impressive growth and sustained market performance made it a deserving recipient of the award.
According to him, Jetour has continued to strengthen its presence in Nigeria since its market entry, maintaining strong momentum through product innovation and customer-focused services.
“The Jetour brand has made a remarkable impact on the Nigerian market since its introduction, and they have consistently sustained that momentum. It was therefore difficult to overlook the brand for this prestigious recognition,” Kintum said.
Jetour Nigeria noted that it remains the sole authorised distributor of Jetour vehicles in Nigeria, having been officially appointed by Jetour International in 2022.

The company said the exclusive arrangement gives it the responsibility for the importation, distribution and after-sales support of the entire Jetour vehicle range in the country.
It added that customers purchasing vehicles through its authorised network are guaranteed access to genuine spare parts, factory-trained technicians and manufacturer-backed warranties, aimed at protecting consumers and ensuring quality after-sales service.
The latest award adds to Jetour Nigeria’s growing list of achievements.
Earlier this year, the company received the Market Share Leadership Award 2025 at the 2026 Jetour Global Conference, where it was recognised as the brand’s best-performing market in Africa.
The company has also received several industry recognitions from the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), including New Entrant of the Year, Fastest Growing Auto Brand, and Car of the Year for the Jetour Dashing SUV.
Jetour Nigeria has continued to broaden its product offerings to meet the evolving needs of Nigerian consumers.
Its lineup includes the X50, X70 Plus, X90 Plus, T1, T2, the award-winning Dashing SUV and the premium G700 luxury off-roader, which features a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain designed to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.
The company also offers hybrid variants, including the T2 PHEV and X70 PHEV, as part of its strategy to expand environmentally friendly mobility options in the Nigerian market.
To enhance customer access and after-sales support, Jetour Nigeria operates through a nationwide network of seven authorised dealership partners.
The dealerships include Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, R.T. Briscoe Plc, TAB Autos Limited and Mandilas Motors.
According to the company, these dealerships are the only outlets officially recognised by both Jetour International and Jetour Nigeria to sell, maintain and service Jetour vehicles across the country.
Automotive industry analysts said the latest recognition reflects Jetour Nigeria’s rapid emergence as one of the country’s fastest-growing automobile brands.
According to the analysts, the company’s combination of competitive pricing, expanding dealership network, growing SUV portfolio and emphasis on after-sales support has enabled it to gain market share in an increasingly competitive automotive landscape.
They also noted that continued investment in hybrid and plug-in hybrid technologies positions the brand to benefit from the gradual transition toward cleaner mobility solutions in Nigeria, while sustained improvements in customer service and spare parts availability could further strengthen consumer confidence in the brand.
