Jimoh Ibrahim felicitates Akeredolu at 66
Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim, the APC senatorial candidate for Ondo South, has felicitated Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
The business mogul in his congratulatory message on Thursday made available to newsmen in Okitipupa described Akeredolu as “a hegemon with collaborative praxis”.
Ibrahim said that Akeredolu was indeed a blessing to the state, whose stance on security in the state, southwest, and Nigeria at large would remain indelible in the history of the nation.
He commended Akeredolu for the industrialization projects which manifested in the state’s industrial park at Omotosho in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of the state.
He said that the series of industries established in the park had reduced the hitherto high rate of unemployment in the state, particularly in Ondo South.
Ibrahim also said that the efforts of the governor in attracting investors to the state paid off through world standard economic policies introduced by his administration in the state.
He added that the thoughtfulness of the governor to construct the first flyover in Ore had reduced ghastly motor accidents which usually occurred on the Ore-Benin Highway.
He commended Akeredolu for ensuring unity in APC and for working collectively with members for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections and beyond.
“He carries everyone along and he’s a good leader who puts all his followers into consideration in all his decisions.
“We thank God for what he has been using him for in Nigeria, Ondo State, and Ondo South senatorial district.
“He stands against insecurity in the country because he knows as a governor, the onus lies on him to ensure the protection of lives and property of his people irrespective of their political leaning.
“The governor is enlightened. He is of the view that there is no way any investor will put his money where the security of lives and property can not be assured,” he said.
Ibrahim prayed to God to give the governor a long life and sound health to fulfill His desires for him.
