Just in: APC replaces Ali Ndume as Senate Chief Whip
Ndume’s replacement at the Senate followed a directive issued to that effect in a letter written by the National Chairman of the party, Dr Umar Ganduje, and National Secretar , Senator Bashir Ajibola.
The request was put to voice votes by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and loudly affirmed by all the APC Senators.
Senator Ali Ndume has been removed as the Chief Whip of the Senate and replaced with Senator Tahir Monguno.

This followed a directive issued to that effect in a letter written by the National Chairman of the party, Umar Ganduje, and National Secretary, Senator Bashir Ajibola.
Ndume says Tinubu “caged in the Villa,” and needs “to wake up” to the reality of national hardship
The request was put to voice votes by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and loudly affirmed by all the APC senators.
Last week, Ndume publicly claimed President Bola Tinubu was “caged” and was removed from the realities of the Nigerian people.
